About

Consultant in Residence

The Consultant in Residence program is intended to provide timely, personalized, guidance for non-profits to help vet ideas, build confidence and determine the best approach to pressing issues related to fundraising, governance and/or strategy. Only non-profits physically located in Kandiyohi County are eligible for this opportunity.

Phase 1:
How Office Hours
Works

Consultant will serve local non-profits by providing access to coaching and support through a 45-minute office hour session on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • These 1:1 sessions with the consultant are available for a specified time each month and are meant to address specific areas of opportunity or concern.

  • Any local non-profit staff or board member can schedule time with the consultant. For example, office hours can be used to discuss an upcoming donor meeting, get feedback on an emergent idea, or strategy, or talk through the distinctions between governance and management.
